Delete in the app
- Open Paranoia and go to Settings.
- Open Privacy & Data.
- Choose Delete online account.
- Read what happens, then type DELETE to confirm.
The request invalidates online sessions and room-resume access immediately, removes you from live rooms, deactivates online entitlements, removes blocks you made, and disables your unexpired custom room content.
If you cannot open the app
Email support@paranoiagame.app from a contact address you can access. We may need a privacy-preserving verification step. Never send a recovery code, Game Center or Google Play Games identifier, signed App Store transaction or Google Play purchase token by email.
What remains
To prevent an existing restriction or another player’s block being bypassed by deleting and recreating an account, we retain a keyed one-way identity hash, the previous internal account link and necessary enforcement facts for up to 90 days after deletion. Deleting again within that period does not extend it. Display names are removed from retained block labels. This record is not used to restore the deleted account, purchases or gameplay history.
Live room data disappears immediately. Free-text report detail is removed from ordinary records and notification messages linked to the account. A device may keep an anonymous notification installation for local play and opted-in communications; turn notifications off for Paranoia in your device’s settings to disable it, after which it is deleted within 30 days. Pseudonymous purchase facts may remain for up to six years, App Store notification metadata for 180 days, and encrypted moderation evidence under the 30/90-day policy or until a formal escalation is resolved. Names you used online, and your place in saved online room records, are kept for 90 days after deletion and then removed.
These retained facts are not used to restore gameplay access.
Purchases
Deleting a Paranoia online identity does not cancel or refund an App Store or Google Play purchase. Billing and refund requests are handled by Apple or Google.
Account deletion is permanent for the online identity. Local game settings and content stored only on the device can be removed by deleting the app.
